It is so sad that instead of moving forward we have been set back. Some things will never change but remain the same. Some people will always be stuck on stupid, sitting on silly and waiting on dumb. Some were just born that way, just straight up ignorant. It is really very disappointing when you think about it, some people still have a problem with skin color. The sad thing is, these people don't seem to get it, when we bleed it is all the same color, red. We breathe the same air, believe it or not, we are all a part of the same atmosphere that we call earth. It shouldn't make a difference what you wear, a hoodie, we all wear them, if you haven't you don't know what you are missing. Well, I take that back, I guess you are missing something, death ! I was always told that we all have a purpose in life, was Trayvon Martins purpose here on earth to bring us together as a people, as one? If you really look at it, that's the only thing that he lived long enough to do. I am a mother and I am very sure most mothers and fathers would feel the same, you don't want to bury your children. You really don't want to do this over what they are wearing, a hoodie. You don't want to do that period. I remember back in the day, when kids would beat you up over your sneakers, they would take them from you, or should I say steal them from you. Now we are killing over clothing or the color of a persons skin. Come on people, lets grow up, get right, get help or something.Thou shall not kill thy neighbor.I hope that from this terrible event we all will learn something from it. I certainly did. It doesn't matter about how big or small you are, what color you are, where you live, what you wear, what side of town you live on, or where you work, we are all people, we all hurt, we all live until we die. Lets not judge people, lets live together and help one another, that is what life is all about, that's what God put us here for, to live life more abundantly.We are suppose to progress, not regress. When grown people start going around killing other peoples children because of what they are wearing, we have been set back and we need to do something about it.Just think of it this way, it could be yours, for that matter it could be you! May God be with the Martin family and other families that have suffered a loss....
